1938 - 2025
Born and raised in Milford, Betty was the daughter of the late John H. and Louise (Balconi) Tognazzi. A proud graduate of Milford High School and Lasell College, she went on to build a fulfilling career as a medical transcriptionist at Milford Regional Hospital, where her attention to detail and professionalism earned her the respect of colleagues and patients alike.
Betty was a woman of many talents and interests. She enjoyed painting, ceramics, stenciling, reading, and playing cards with her many close friends. Throughout her life, she cherished the bonds she formed with the Alberta, Rizoli, Guerriere, Glennon, Mazzone, Ragini, Hannigan, Bruno, and Zmijewski families, considering them an extension of her own.
She is survived by her loving children: Timothy P. Hennessy and his wife Tracy of Mendon; Kathleen L. Hennessy of Hopkinton; and Amy E. Neves and her husband Kevin of Milford. She was the proud grandmother of Joshua, Megan, Jeremy, Leah, and Connor, and great-grandmother to Wyatt. She also leaves behind her brother-in-law Robert Hennessy and his wife Toni of Hopedale, as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Betty was predeceased by her daughter Ann Hennessy; her brother John Tognazzi and his wife Jean; and her “adopted brother” Ralph Boccasile and his wife Rose.
