1956 - 2025
Barry grew up in Needham, completing his early education at Needham High School in the class of 1974 before continuing on to the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he forged lifelong friendships and shaped the beginnings of his career. For more than thirty years, he served as a steady and respected presence within the shipping department at the flower exchange in Boston, remembered by colleagues for his unwavering integrity, strong work ethic, and natural warmth.
Barry is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lisa (Gallo) Geller, with whom he created a home rooted in love and purpose. He took immense pride in his children, Mark L. Geller of Hudson and Rachael L. Geller of Milford, and his greatest joy came from being a grandfather to Kevin Tame, III. Barry was also a devoted brother to David Geller of Needham and Michael Geller of Needham, and a caring uncle to many nieces and nephews.
His presence was a true gift to those who knew him, and his steady guidance and affection leave a lasting legacy. Barry enjoyed spending time with others, and his love of playing cards offered him many treasured moments of laughter and camaraderie with family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday December 1, 2025 at 10:45 am at Sharon Memorial Park, 120 Canton Street Sharon, MA.
Those wishing to honor Barry’s memory may make memorial donations to the Joe Andruzzi Foundation, 49 Plain St #500, North Attleborough, MA 02760.
