Barbara was a kind, generous, and funny woman whose warmth touched everyone she met. She was known for her resilience and joyful spirit, which carried her through life’s challenges with grace and humor. An avid tennis player, Barbara loved staying active and spending time outdoors. She took great pride in her beautiful gardens—her flowers reflecting the care and attention she brought to everything in her life.
Family was at the heart of who Barbara was. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren—playing games, sharing laughs, and creating memories that will be cherished forever. Always ready to lend a helping hand, Barbara’s thoughtfulness and willingness to support her family at a moment’s notice will never be forgotten.
She is survived by her son Gary Sheehan and his daughters, Malori and Violet; and by her daughter Cheryl Douglas and her husband Joe, along with their children, Jessica, Jordan, and JJ. Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Barry Sheehan, who passed away on August 6, 2008.
Barbara’s kindness, humor, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
