Artur M. Pereira, 69, of Milford, passed away January 2, 2025, at the University Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. He was the husband of Maryann Pereira for 47 years. He was born in Antigo de Curros, Boticas, Portugal son of the late, Alfredo and Elvira Pereira and immigrated to Milford in 1977.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Melissa Ann Mestre and her husband, Nuno Domingos Mestre, of Milford; his two grandchildren Nuno and Catarina Mestre. Two brothers, Antonio Pereira and his wife Maria Celeste of Curros and Domingos Pereira and his wife Albertina of Milford; two sisters, Maria Pereira and her husband Domingos of Antigo de Curros and Ana Pereira Dias and her husband Jose of Milford; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who enjoyed his presence. Artur will be remembered for all the stories and endless laughs he gave everyone.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 8:30 to 10:30 A.M. at the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Church on Winter St. Milford. The burial will be in the parish cemetery on Cedar St.
