Born in Hackensack, New Jersey, Aline was the daughter of the late Chester J. Surette and Marguerite E. (Belliveau) Surette. She was a high school graduate and also earned several certifications as an administrative assistant.
Aline worked for many years as a legal secretary. She was raised in Newton, Massachusetts, and had been a resident of Milford for the past 40 years.
She had a wide range of interests and enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. Aline was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and loved animals, listening to yacht rock music, watching musicals, and tuning into her favorite television show, Nash Bridges starring Don Johnson. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.
She is survived by her brother, Louis Surette and his wife Elizabeth of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; her niece, Lisa Adelman and her partner Richard Statman of Middleboro; as well as many grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, and great-grandnephews.
Aline was predeceased by her beloved son, Woodrow L. “Chip” Curtis III.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place. A private graveside committal service will be held at Newton Cemetery in Newton Centre at the convenience of the family.
