Alexander George Toloczko (Al), 32, of Upton
1993 - 2026

Born in Newton, Al was the beloved son of Linda Ouellette of Upton and Mitchell Toloczko of Hopkinton. He was a 2012 graduate of Hopkinton High School.

Al lived life on his own terms. Convinced that weekdays in a suit and tie would be unbearable, he chose a hands-on path, spending his career working in construction before becoming a skilled foundryman under the guidance of his father. Recently, he had taken ownership of his own business and was excited about the future. He also developed a passion for 3-D printing, hoping to turn his creativity and talent into a second business. Family and friends often found themselves receiving one of his latest creations, which he delighted in sharing.

Al enjoyed spending time at the Woodville Rod and Gun Club and dreamed of one day living off the grid in Alaska, surrounded by nature and free from modern conveniences.

Known as the family’s “Wikipedia,” Al possessed an incredible memory and could provide detailed information on nearly any subject imaginable. He loved music of all kinds, from folk and country to heavy metal and The Beatles.

Family meant everything to Al. He shared a special bond with his grandparents, Sally and George Ouellette, and treasured summers spent at their pool, listening to stories of his grandfather’s service in the United States Navy during World War II. He was especially close to his sister, Lauren Toloczko-Rodriguez, whose passing four years ago left a lasting mark on his heart. Though younger, Al was often her protector, confidante, and closest friend.

Al also had a deep love for animals and especially cherished the dogs that were part of his life, including Molly, Rebel, Henry, Chubby, and his beloved companions Cupid and Neptune.

In addition to his parents, Al is survived by his aunts Susan and Karen Ouellette and Sandi Wallace; his cousin Hope Ouellette; his brother-in-law Christopher Rodriguez; and his beloved dogs Cupid and Neptune.

He was predeceased by his sister Lauren Toloczko-Rodriguez; his uncles George S. Ouellette and Steven Toloczko; his grandparents Sally and George J. Ouellette and Catherine and Mitchell Toloczko Sr.; and his cherished nanny, Connie Pineo.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 28th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home, located in 57 Hayden Rowe Street in Hopkinton.

A celebration of life service will take place on Tuesday, June 30th at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Michael’s Episcopal Church, located at 1162 Highland Street in Holliston. Interment of ashes in the Memorial Garden will follow.
