By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Wrentham Special Town Meeting voters have rejected an article to create a MBTA Communities Multi-family Overlay District to comply with the state mandate to do so or risk losing certain state grants. The Town Manager says it went down by an overwhelming vote of 542 to 53 with voters opting to wait for a ruling from the State Supreme Judicial Court on a lawsuit between the state and the Town of Milton. Voters did however approve buying some land to build a new well for the town water system.
