Work has started on upgrading Milford’s Fino Field Pool. The pool has been closed since 2019, first due to the pandemic and then because of much-needed repairs. Patch reports on Tuesday town officials broke ground on a project that will fix the pool’s drainage, and add a shallow lagoon which will allow for handicapped access as well as a splash pad. The upgrade also includes a new locker room and bathrooms. Funding for the $4.6 million rebuild was approved by Town Meeting more than two years ago.
