Work continues behind the scenes to get Medway’s Main Street post office back open. The US Post Office closed it suddenly last month over an apparent lease issue with the property owner but without informing any town officials. The Assistant Town Manager tells the Daily News property owner Kevin Meehan plans a new development at the site that will eventually include a new post office. For now, the P.O. boxes were moved to the Village Street post office but for bulk mail you have to go to Bellingham post office.
