WMRC & MyFM Mourns the Loss of Longtime News Director, Ed Thompson

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Longtime WMRC & MyFM News Director Ed Thompson passed away January 20. An active, lifelong member of the Hopkinton and Milford community, Ed was our News Director for almost 50 years and as one of the region’s most identifiable voices was an indelible part of the local landscape. Ed loved to travel especially to Punta Cana which he called “the best place on earth”. He leaves behind his wife, Sue, his three sons and five grandchildren. Details for a celebration of his life are still to come.
