By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Westborough’s long-discussed Stormwater Utility Fee begins on July 1. Approved by Town Meeting last year the fee collected from property owners will go into a dedicated fund to pay specifically for the work of operating, maintaining and improving the town’s stormwater infrastructure. The Community Advocate reports all property owners with developed land will get a bill quarterly. It’s based on how much privately-owned impervious area you have such as a driveway or paved patio but not a public sidewalk.
