By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Westborough’s Sharp Building on Lyman Street has opened as an Emergency Assistance Shelter. The Town says it is being overseen by the state’s Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities and is for families with children and pregnant women who currently live in Massachusetts and need shelter. Officials say the shelter has welcomed 20 families and has prioritized those with ties to the Westborough area.
