Westborough’s Massachusetts Broadband Institute has added 27 more communities to its consultation coverage as it works to bring broadband internet access to those for whom it is still out of reach. The Worcester Business Journal reports the Institute’s Digital Equity Planning Program began in May with 35 towns and cities as part of the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, so now it’s up to 62. Work includes helping the towns identify families without internet equipment and developing options to connect.
