WESTBOROUGH — The Westborough School Committee has started the process of determining how the town’s elementary schools could be redistricted in the coming years.

The district has been working with a consultant to evaluate how best to rebalance and maximize the use of Fales, Hastings, and Armstrong elementary schools as projected enrollment increases alongside new housing development. According to The Community Advocate, the initial review has resulted in five possible redistricting scenarios.

School Committee members say the goal is to narrow those options down to one or two preferred scenarios by January, as they continue planning for future growth and space needs across the district.
