A Westborough police officer is facing charges of operating under the influence. Northborough Police say William Kearney was pulled over on Friday night on Southwest Cutoff for apparently crossing over the center lines. In addition to OUI he is charged with carrying a firearm while intoxicated, for reportedly having his service weapon in the glovebox at the time, as well as driving to endanger. Westborough Police Chief Todd Minardi told the Daily News he can’t comment on personnel matters but did confirm Kearney was placed on administrative leave
