Investigators say the 26-year-old man, whose name has not been released, was going at an “extremely high rate of speed” when he slammed into a car that was turning and was thrown from the bike. He was pronounced dead at the scene. No one in the other car was hurt. So far there is no indication that the car’s driver would be facing any charges.
