A Westborough man had been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a child. Police Chief Todd Minardi says Rigoberto Vasquez Mendoza was arrested last week for the incident alleged to have taken place on August 8. The Community Advocate reports the victim, a 13-year-old girl, fled to Lynn where police were called. When officers went to Mendoza’s home, he was gone but US Marshals and State Police helped to find him. He was arraigned last week and according to Chief Minardi is out on $5000 bond.
