Westboro Firefighters Approve New Contract After Year Without Agreement

Firefighters in Westboro have approved a contract between the town and the International Association of Firefighters Local 3070. The firefighters have been working more than a year without a contract. Some of the provisions include a cost-of-living increase of two percent and payment for Juneteenth. Under the agreement, the firefighters will receive a cost-of-living increase of 2 percent in 2024; 2 percent in 2025, and 2.5% in 2026.
