MILFORD – The funeral services for the Honorable Judge Francis Larkin, who passed away last week at the age of 92, have been postponed due to the weather. Judge Larkin, a Milford native, served as Presiding Justice of the Milford District Court, as well as on the Appellate and Superior Courts, and was the first-ever recipient of the American Bar Association’s Judicial Administration Lifetime Achievement Award.
In addition to his judicial career, Larkin served as Hopedale Town Moderator for 26 years and was widely known as a prolific volunteer and philanthropist. His funeral had been scheduled for today, but the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home says services will now be held on Saturday, with visiting hours on Friday.
