WALTHAM – A Waltham man who teaches physical education in Watertown is facing child pornography charges.
Massachusetts State Police say 60-year-old Stephen McDonough was arraigned in Waltham District Court and is being held on $25,000 bail. If released, he is prohibited from having unsupervised contact with minors or working with anyone under 18.
Officials in Belmont and Waltham confirmed that McDonough has never been employed by their public school systems.
A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for October 22.
