MILLIS – Voters in Millis have overwhelmingly approved a debt exclusion to fund the town’s share of a major renovation and expansion project for the Middle/High School. At Monday’s special election, more than 74% of voters supported the $56 million debt exclusion, which will pay for Millis’ portion of the $125 million project. The remainder will be covered by the Massachusetts School Building Authority.

The measure had already cleared a major hurdle last month, passing by more than a two-thirds majority at the Fall Town Meeting. Residents can view detailed design plans for the upgrades on the Millis Town website.
