The superintendent of Uxbridge Schools has been placed on leave in the wake of a weekend drunk driving arrest. On Tuesday the Uxbridge School Committee announced they had put Michael Baldassare on paid administrative leave after State Police said a trooper had arrested him around 2am Saturday for alleged OUI after clocking him going 100 mph on Interstate 495 in Bolton. Boston 25 reports Baldassare faces charges including OUI, negligent operation, speeding, and more. Officials say his license has since been suspended and he is due back in court for a preliminary hearing in March.
