Uxbridge is getting more than $53,000 from the state to improve the quality and flow of Rock Meadow Brook. The money is part of $6.4 million announced last week by the Governor’s office to support ecological restoration projects to help communities with structure to adapt to climate impacts. Officials say the Culvert Replacement Municipal Assistance Grant will fund field data collection for a culvert replacement project on Rock Meadow Road Extension which will improve stream connectivity of Rock Meadow Brook.
