MEDWAY – An Uxbridge man is facing a third-offense operating under the influence charge following an incident Monday on Holliston Street.
Medway Police say an officer saw a vehicle strike a mailbox before stopping nearby. As the officer approached and knocked on the driver’s window, police allege the driver, identified as Louis Luccio, pulled away. Officers also reported seeing what appeared to be a bottle of alcohol in the vehicle’s cup holder.
A second officer later located and stopped the vehicle. Following an investigation and field sobriety testing, Luccio was taken into custody and charged with third-offense OUI.
