Uxbridge High School technology education and engineering teacher Michael Smutok has won the Prize Book Award from the Harvard Club. The award recognizes those who have made significant contributions toward education by inspiring curiosity and excellence. In 2022, Smutok, who has been with Uxbridge High for over 15 years, piloted a national revision to the Project Lead The Way Common Capstone course and was recognized by PLTW as a Master Teacher, supporting colleagues across the country.
