Upton Building Commissioner Patrick Roche Retires After 47 Years

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – One of the longest-serving employees of the Town of Upton has announced his retirement. Upton Building Commissioner Patrick Roche says he is retiring after 47 years and tomorrow will be his last day. Pat started in 1977 as a part time Building Inspector working out of his home and has overseen private homes, subdivisions, commercial buildings, two new schools, and several renovations of Blackstone Valley Tech, the Police Station, the Fire/EMS Headquarters, Town Hall and many others.
