The Town of Upton has been awarded a $3.6 million state grant to update some infrastructure. On Wednesday the Governor announced $164 million in grants to 161 communities through the One Stop for Growth program to fund economic development projects. Upton’s share will go toward extending water and sewer infrastructure from Upton Center east along Route 140 to support mixed use and commercial development including the Governor’s Landing development and new projects along the 140 corridor.
