By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – We’re still awaiting the verdict on whether local Big Lots stores will actually be closing down. Last week the company announced it was starting going-of-business sales at all remaining stores across the county including in Milford and Franklin when a planned bankruptcy sale to Nexus Capital Management fell through. But then it was announced they’d reach a deal to sell to Gordon Brothers Retail Partners which could keep the name or use one of the others they operate under like Rose’s and Maxway.
