ByMyFM’s Claire Beverly – UMass Memorial Health and Milford Regional Medical Center have officially merged. The two hospitals announced last year that they were seeking an affiliation and announced Tuesday that the process is complete. Milford Regional President Ed Kelly remains in that role and joins the UMass Memorial senior leadership team plus Milford Regional will keep its local community board and have a seat on the UMass Memorial board. Officials say Milford Regional will continue to provide inpatient and outpatient services.
