Two Local Episcopal Churches Consider Merger Due to Repair Costs

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Two local churches are reportedly considering a merger. The Franklin Observer reported Grace Episcopal Church in North Attleboro and St. John’s Episcopal Church in Franklin are looking into combining their resources. Officials say the Grace Episcopal building is in great disrepair and would need about $2 million to keep being used. However, as the Observer reports, Grace officials are also reportedly looking at combining with All Saints’ Episcopal in Attleboro.
