FRANKLIN — Two residents are recovering after a garage fire at a home on Peters Lane Friday afternoon.
Franklin Fire Chief Charles Allen says crews responded around 1 p.m. and quickly worked to extinguish the blaze. Firefighters received mutual aid from departments in Bellingham, Medway, Mendon, Norfolk, Plainville, and Wrentham.
The two residents were transported to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
