SOUTHBOROUGH – Southborough Police are investigating an early-morning crash that involved an alleged OUI and a stolen vehicle.
Police say the two-car crash happened around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Turnpike Road and Middle Road. Officers determined that one of the drivers, a man from New Hampshire, appeared to be intoxicated, with police noting the smell of alcohol.
While officers were at the scene, dispatchers informed them that the vehicle the man was driving had been reported stolen out of Worcester and that he had five outstanding warrants. The man was transported to a hospital and then placed under arrest. Police say the driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
