State Funding Earmarked for Projects in Medway and Franklin

MEDWAY/FRANMLIN – Communities in Medway and Franklin are set to benefit from funding included in a supplemental state budget.

State Representative Jeffrey Roy says the proposed allocations include $250,000 for safety and drainage improvements at the Burke Memorial School parking lot in Medway, along with $50,000 to support new vocational-technical educators.

In Franklin, funding includes $150,000 to upgrade the middle school library and STEM space, as well as $5,000 for HEPA air filters at the Benjamin Franklin Charter Public School.
