By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Milford and Medway fire departments are reportedly facing some trimming in relation to reductions in the state budget. The Daily News reports the state’s latest budget reflects a 50% cut in local earmarks for several town fire departments. For Medway, which is starting a paramedic bicycle program to get into harder to reach areas during large events, it means just one electric bike instead of two. For Milford, it means getting $17,500 instead of $35,000 for new hoses to replace some of the aging ones.
