St Mary’s Church in Franklin says they will be reopening their primary worship space upstairs starting this weekend. The church was heavily damaged in a fire in October that the Fire Marshal determined was arson, which remains under investigation. Since then, services have been held in the basement. Officials say this Saturday, March 1, at the 4pm Mass, Boston Archbishop Richard Henning will celebrate the reopening and consecration of the church with a reception to follow in the Sacred Heart Hall. They say the restoration work is not fully done, with some projects still to be completed.
