Spring Boating Safety Classes Offered by the Coast Guard at Milford High School

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Coast Guard is hosting a couple of boating safety classes this spring at Milford High School. The Boat America Course is a one-day course with basic knowledge and skills to get a certification and have an enjoyable boating experience. It’s offered Saturdays March 16 and April 27. The Suddenly in Command Course covers what to do when a boat’s captain somehow is incapacitated or falls overboard. That’s on two Wednesdays, March 20 and April 30.
