Southwick’s Zoo has a new resident and they are going to want your help in giving her a name. The new baby giraffe was born on August 11 to resident giraffe Molly who herself was born and raised at the zoo. Officials tell the Worcester Telegram & Gazette mom and baby are doing great but are out of the spotlight for now until the baby grows a little bigger and stronger and then she’ll join the herd which includes her dad. Meanwhile, in a few weeks the zoo will be launching a public naming contest for the 5-foot-tall baby.
