SOUTHBOROUGH – The Southborough Police Department is increasing enforcement efforts this month to crack down on distracted driving. The department received a Massachusetts Road Safety Traffic Enforcement Grant, allowing for additional patrols focused on violations.
Police say enforcement will target texting while driving and improper use of mobile devices, though specific locations and times have not been announced. The initiative will run throughout the month across Southborough.
