SOUTHBOROUGH — Wastewater infrastructure is at the forefront of discussion for Southborough town officials.
The town’s Wastewater Study Committee has been working on potential upgrades aimed at attracting more business development along Route 9. One option gaining attention is regionalizing wastewater treatment to share costs with neighboring communities.
According to The Community Advocate, the committee is exploring the possibility of partnering with Westborough on a regional wastewater system. Officials plan to meet next month to further discuss the idea.
