Some affordable housing has just come available in Franklin. The Franklin Housing Authority says they’ve acquired the ‘long-time vacant’ property at 813 Summer Street. Officials say the three-bedroom home will be leased to an income eligible family and the property will remain in the Town’s affordable housing stock in perpetuity. The FHA says they will lease the property based on 80% of the current area Fair Market Rents and the renter’s income must be below the area’s federal Low-Income Limits.
