By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – No one is hurt following a small fire at the E.L. Harvey recycling center in Hopkinton Thursday morning. Hopkinton Fire Chief Gary Daugherty tells the Hopkinton Independent the fire started inside a dumpster at the Wood Street facility. He says the dumpster was mostly filled with recycled electronic items and since many of those items have lithium-ion batteries, one of them is the likely source of the fire. That also generally makes it trickier to attack although the department had the fire out in about 15 minutes.
