Skating Club of Boston Mourns Six Members Lost in DC Plane Collision

Shock continues to ripple through the local ice-skating community following the presumed deaths of six people connected to the Skating Club of Boston who were aboard an American Airlines flight that collided with a military chopper in Washington DC Wednesday night. The skaters, 16-year-old Spencer Lane and 13-year-old Jinna Han, their moms Christine Lane and Jin Han, and their coaches, former World Pairs Champs Evgenia Shishkova and Vadim Naumov, were returning from a U.S. Figuring Skating national development camp in Wichita. In all there were 14 skaters on the plane.
