Saint Vincent Hospital has named a US Marine Corps veteran as its new chief nursing officer. Last week Tenet HealthCare announced Denise Kvapil will take over the lead nursing role for its hospitals in Worcester, Framingham, and Natick. Kvapil was previously chief nursing officer at Tenet’s Palm Beach Medical Center. Former CNO Jay Prosser is leaving to become executive director for the Massachusetts Nursing Council for Workforce Sustainability to focus on statewide nursing workforce initiatives.
