State Representative Jeff Roy was among those on hand for the unveiling of the newly resurfaced portion of the Southern New England Rail Trail or SNETT in Franklin. A ribbon cutting was held Saturday morning for the refurbished section known as the Franklin Bellingham Rail Trail running from Grove to Prospect .
The FBRT Committee had been working for some time to get the rehab done on the trail which is used by walkers, joggers, cyclists, and skaters, but had been worn, uneven and prone to flooding.
