MILFORD – A Rhode Island man has been arrested after police say he stole more than $1,100 worth of merchandise from the Kohl’s store in Milford.
Police say Kohl’s Loss Prevention contacted them after employees watched the man leave the store with a shopping cart full of merchandise he allegedly did not pay for. Officers say they found him walking toward Town Fair Tire with the cart.
Police identified him as Malcom Gill of Providence and say he also had two active warrants related to similar shoplifting allegations. Police did not say where those warrants originated.
