A strong storm that blew through the MetroWest last night has done a number on Framingham. Several streets had to be blocked after strong winds took down trees and power lines with some of the landing on top of some homes. No one was seriously hurt but the Daily News reports city building inspectors have been assessing if the homes are habitable. Several hundred homes were without power for hours with some still being restored.
