FRANKLIN — A pretrial hearing has been postponed in the pending case against a Franklin man accused of causing a deadly drunk driving crash last spring. James Blanchard was scheduled to appear this week for a pretrial conference related to a May crash in Franklin that killed Minaben Patel and her 5-year-old daughter, Krisha.

Blanchard has pleaded not guilty to two counts of manslaughter while operating under the influence, along with additional charges. He is currently being held on $250,000 bail as the case continues through the court system.
