Plans for Hopkinton Gas Station Withdrawn Amid Community Opposition

The developer looking to build a country store and gas station at the corner of School and West Main has reportedly withdrawn the application from the Zoning Board of Appeals after running into opposition from neighbors. Hop News reports developer Kevin Meehan was looking to design the complex with a country theme with trees and garden-style landscaping but said after the previous ZBA meeting he felt the strong community sentiment against it.
