HOPKINTON – Paving work on the Hopkinton Main Street Corridor Project has been delayed due to weather and subcontractor scheduling conflicts, according to project officials.
The contractor, Amorello, is continuing preparations for paving, which will take place between the Fire Station and Wood Street on both West Main Street and Wood Street once conditions allow.
In the meantime, Verizon crews are still working to transfer all remaining overhead utility lines. Some curb and sidewalk construction is also taking place this week, though officials emphasize that access to all buildings will remain open during the work.
