Partisan elections are on the warrant for the Hopkinton Special Town Meeting. Last week the Select Board finalized the 4-article warrant for the November 13 meeting which has been driven by a $96 million ask for a new Elmwood School. But in addition,Town Meeting will be asked to consider a citizens petition to eliminate partisan elections in Hopkinton, preventing the terms “Democratic Caucus Nominee” and “Republican Caucus Nominee” from appearing by the name of a Hopkinton local public office candidate.
